On Saturday, 10 June 2017, the main street of Oliwa, Opata Jacka Rybińskiego, turned into a promenade. It became the central point for most attractions as a part of the district festival – VIVA OLIVA! For the sixth time already, Fundacja Wspólnota Gdańska (Gdańsk Community Foundation), in cooperation with its partners – institutions, businesses, craftsmen, and restaurant owners from Oliwa, organised a number of attractions for the local community and guests, who came in crowds to celebrate together.
Artists performed on stage for the whole day, while a colourful procession made its way through the streets. The climax came with the Family Oliwian Photo taken by a popular photographer, Maciej Kosycarz. That event was initiated, for the second time, by Korporacja Budowlana Doraco.

Schools, crafts, restaurants, institutions and businesses, including DORACO, presented their offers on stands along the promenade. Our representatives offered a number of games that were to attract different senses (touch, taste, and smell), to invite guests to the garden with sensory elements, which is being constructed by Doraco in the area of Pomorska and Grunwaladzka streets. The opening is planned in July 2017.
