The construction of Koga commenced in mid-2014. The general constructor of the modern office building is Korporacja Budowlana DORACO Sp. Z. O.O.

The Koga office building comes as a response to the growing demand for office space in the vicinity of the port.

The state-of-the-art body and interior of the building have been engineered and executed according to highly stringent energy-saving standards. It is equipped with an innovative heating and cooling system based on air-to-air heat pumps with heat recovery. Tap water will be heated with waste heat generated during the cooling of the office area.

Korporacja Budowlana Doraco won a contract for the construction of the road system in the center of Gdansk for the new investment project – Radunia Forum shopping center.

The project involves a comprehensive redevelopment of the road system in the center of Gdansk, at the junction of the main routes of the city, in the immediate vicinity of the historic Main City. The project includes the construction of a new street New Podwale Grodzkie, reconstruction of existing streets and the implementation of a number of engineering structures such as new pedestrian tunnel from the SKM  or reconstruction of the overpass downtown Hucisko.

The project includes construction of an integrated interchange which, in an innovative way, will allow convenient transfer between tramps, buses and SKM trains. The construction will be carried out while maintaining the traffic in one of the most crowded areas of Gdansk.

On September 11th, 2014 Doraco signed an agreement with the developer Immobel Poland for the revitalization of the historic building, the former Central Department Store (SMYK) in Warsaw.

The construction of the designed complex will consist of two integrated connector parts:  historic shopping mall SMYK and reconstructed commercial office building located on the adjacent plot between Krucza and Bracka streets. The building will consist of 11 floors, of which seven are above the ground – with a total area of 18 460 m2, and four other underground floors of 10 930 m2 of usable area.

The building will fulfill the highest standards of A + offices. Energy-saving solutions, such as ventilation and air conditioning will be confirmed by the Excellent level of the BREEAM certificate.

The completion of the project is planned for 2017 and CEDET again will illuminate the heart of the capital.

On May 24, 2014, Mr. Andrzej Hass received the title of  “Businessman of the last 25 -Years in Pomerania” for his achievements and impact on business development in Northern Poland. The final gala was held at the Court of Artus in Gdańsk. Mr. Hass created Doraco in 1991 which is now  part of Hass Holding Group.

Later this year, Doraco will fininsh another stage of the development project of the reconstruction of the XVIII c. Farmstead.

In its final version it will consist of 4 new Calss A office buildings architecturally referring to the old farmstead. 

Doraco among the Business Gazelles

We are very pleased to inform you that the Doraco Construction Corporation Ltd. is again among the Business Gazelles. Business Gazelle – is a ranking of the most dynamically developing small and medium-sized businesses. The first edition of the ranking was held in the year 2000. A Gazelle is small or medium-sized company, which thanks to its dynamic development does very well even among much larger competitors.

The author of the ranking is the credit agency Coface Poland, which is responsible for verifying financial data of the reported companies. To qualify for the title of Business Gazelle 2013, a company must meet all the following criteria:

• Began operations before 2010 and they has been conducted continuously to today
• In the base year 2010 sales revenues were in a range between PLN 3 and 200 million
• In the years 2010-2012 an increase in sales revenue has continued from year to year
• In the years 2010-2012 no losses were recorded
• Enables the analysis of its financial results at least from the year 2010 (by publishing it in Monitor Polski B, submitting the data to Coface Poland or sharing it by filling in the application form).

On 16 December 2013 an agreement was signed with the company Bilfinger Crist Offshore sp. z o.o. for the construction of a Production Hall and Painting Facilities within the investment of the Construction of the Large-size Steel Construction Plant (factory for marine wind farm foundations) on the Ostrów Brdowski Island in Szczecin.

A Production Hall with an area of approx. 20.6 thousand m² and Painting Facilities with an area of 3.6 thousand m² – will be constructed in the Szczecin Ship Repair Yard GRYFIA.

The President of the Board of the DORACO Construction Corporation, Andżelika Cieslowska, was listed in the group of 100 Businesswomen.
The 100 Businesswomen ranking is the project of “Puls Biznesu”, which was created in 2011 to promote women’s entrepreneurship in the Polish business world.

Features of a candidate for the title of Businesswoman 2013:

• Position held: president or owner
• Length of position as president or owner: a minimum of 2 years
• Positive sales growth dynamics of the managed company during the years 2012-2011
• Positive profit growth dynamics of the managed company during the years 2012-2011
• The managed company generates a positive financial result
• The managed company has an impeccable reputation, is valued in the business environment and is in good financial condition
• The managed company does not have any negative legal events in the company’s history such as applications for bankruptcy or liquidation
• The managed company exists on the market for at least three years

Allows the analysis of its financial results at least since 2011, forwarding the data to Bisnode.
