A positive tradition at DORACO Construction Corporation is the support of institutions which contribute to the development of culture and art in the region, as well as activities for the benefit of local communities and assistance for the most needy.

In 2018 and 2019, DORACO was a patron of cultural events taking place in the Oliwa Town Hall of Culture (e.g. a concert of John Porter, monodrama of Szymon Majewski and Andrzej Grabowski).

In 2014, DORACO presented the Gdańsk Museum of Amber with a collection of 6 exceptional rare and original historic objects with amber. The collection is an extremely precious acquisition comprising amber artefacts from the 19th and 20th centuries.

In 2012, the company supported the edition of the “Encyclopaedia of Gdańsk”, a huge editorial and scientific project. It is the first comprehensive compendium of knowledge in the history of Gdańsk, portraying the city from time immemorial to nowadays.

In 2011, DORACO handed over the painting, “Portrait of a young man” by Dutch painter Peeter Danckers de Rij, to the National Museum in Gdańsk. The work was created in 1640 and is an example of Baroque portrait painting.

In the years 2010 – 2016, Doraco was a sponsor of the festival “Let’s remember Osiecka”, held every year at the Atelier Theatre in Sopot.
