The 13th edition of the International Railway Fair TRAKO was held on 24-27 September this year at the AMBEREXPO Exhibition and Convention Centre in Gdańsk. It is the second largest railway industry event in Europe. Our company DORACO Infrastruktura, exclusive distributor of ROSEHILL RAIL railway and road crossings, had to be there.
At their stand, DORACO Infrastruktura and ROSEHILL RAIL experts presented road and railway crossings used for various purposes, including on all sorts of roads, pedestrian crossings, crossings applied in agriculture, or crossings enabling access to tracks during maintenance works. Amongst them was the latest innovative LINK CROSSING SYSTEM, which, contrary to previous RODDED/CONNECT and BASEPLATED systems, is not fixed thanks to which panels may be assembled on uneven surfaces.
Besides the offer of railway-road crossing systems, the latest version of ANTI-TRESPASS panels was presented. It is a proven solution of a physical and visual obstruction, which will discourage pedestrians from crossing the railway in unauthorised places. New conical shape guarantees the same features as an obstacle, ensuring simultaneously even greater resistance and durability, which extends its life time.
This year’s fair was attended by nearly 700 exhibitors from 30 countries: transport organisers and carriers, suppliers of technologies for rail transport, rolling stock producers, distributors, representatives of state and self-government authorities as well as institutions, engineers, investors and aficionados of railway and trams. The exhibition was accompanied by seminars, debates and industry presentations. Within 4 days, the event was visited by several thousand guests.
TRAKO is organised by Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie S.A. and PKP Group. Next edition will be held already in 2 years.
